    A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Payroll Specialist at our groups head office in Newcastle upon Tyne. The position will form a pivotal role within an established team and be essential in the department delivering key objectives.

     

    Key duties and responsibilities of the role will include; having the ability to run monthly payrolls accurately to a given deadline, to be responsible for the efficient and effective payroll service, ensuring customers are provided with accurate information at all times. You will maintain and input payroll in a precise and accurate manner and understand the calculation of statutory payments along with variable data such as overtime. As well as producing payslips you will assist in the monthly reconciliation and payroll balancing and assist in the preparation of third party payments such as court orders and tax payments to HMRC.

     

    The successful candidate will have significant experience in a similar role and have demonstrational examples of their experience. You will have the ability to prioritise your own workload to a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. You will work well under pressure and be able to maintain absolute confidentiality, tact and diplomacy at all times. You will be a team player with the ability to work without supervision and when required have a flexible approach to your working hours in order to meet deadlines. You will be an effective communicator with a high level of both verbal and written communication skills
